How to register and participate in NSPC 2026

A quick guide for students to join the National Student Paryavaran Competition (NSPC) 2026. Participation is free. E-certificates are issued to students who take part through a school, college or organisation registered on EcoMitram.

Before you start

  • Participation is free and open to everyone.
  • You can join on a phone or computer — no app install needed.
  • Registration window: 15 July – 15 September 2026.
  • To get an e-certificate, take part through your school, college or organisation’s registration link. Ask your teacher or coordinator for the QR code or link — some of your details will already be filled in.
  • Not part of an institution? A teacher or coordinator can register an organisation so participants receive certificates.

Step 1 — Open the registration page

Step 2 — Fill in your details

  • Enter your name and contact details.
  • Pick your participation group (based on your class or level).
  • Add your school / college / institution name if it isn’t already filled in.

Participation groups

  • Group A — Class 1 to 5
  • Group B — Class 6 to 8
  • Group C — Class 9 to 12
  • Group D — UG, PG & research scholars
  • Group E — other participants

Step 3 — Take the quiz

  • Answer the environmental quiz for your group.
  • It is graded automatically as soon as you submit.

Step 4 — Do the green task

Upload a selfie while planting a tree.

Step 5 — Get your certificate

  • If you took part through a registered school, college or organisation, your e-certificate is generated as soon as you finish.
  • Download it and share it on WhatsApp or social media.

Common questions

Is there any fee?
No. NSPC is completely free to join.
Do I need to install an app?
No. It works in any web browser on your phone or computer.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, if you take part through a school, college or organisation registered on EcoMitram. Use your institution’s registration link so your e-certificate is issued on completion.
