Maintenance of Clean and Hygienic Surroundings – Cleaning Schedule It is essential to maintain the premises and surrounding areas in a clean and hygienic condition, particularly during the rainy season. Stagnant water can increase mosquito breeding and may lead to seasonal diseases. Therefore, the following cleaning schedule must be strictly followed: 1. Daily Cleaning - Classrooms, corridors, toilets, kitchen, dining area, and other regularly used areas must be cleaned every day. - Garbage must be collected and disposed of properly. - Any stagnant water noticed on the premises must be removed immediately. 2. Twice-Weekly Cleaning - Open areas, drainage points, corners, and other places where water may accumulate must be inspected and cleaned at least twice a week. - Garbage, fallen leaves, weeds, and other waste materials must be removed. 3. Weekly Cleaning - A thorough cleaning of the entire campus and surrounding areas must be carried out once every week. - Overgrown grass, bushes, weeds, and unwanted vegetation must be removed. - Drains and water-flow channels must be checked and cleared to prevent water stagnation. 4. Cleaning After Rainfall - After every significant rainfall, the premises must be inspected on the same day or at the earliest possible time. - Stagnant water, accumulated garbage, fallen branches/leaves, and overgrown vegetation must be cleared immediately. - Special attention must be given to areas that can become mosquito-breeding sites. 5. Responsibility - Concerned Cleaning Staff: Responsible for carrying out the cleaning activities as per the schedule. - Designated Staff/Supervisor: Responsible for monitoring the cleaning work and maintaining a cleaning record. - SO: Responsible for overall supervision, verification, and ensuring that the cleaning schedule is followed without fail. A daily cleaning checklist/register should be maintained and verified by the concerned supervisor/SO regularly. All concerned are instructed to follow this schedule strictly to ensure a clean, hygienic, and disease-free environment for the students and staff. Gousia TGNGC JANGAON TELANGANA
