Students were engaged in an interactive waste-management activity in which the waste materials available in the school were collected and classified into five or six categories, such as biodegradable, recyclable, non-recyclable, hazardous, e-waste, and reusable waste. They identified which category each waste material belonged to and discussed suitable methods for its segregation, reuse, recycling, and safe disposal. This hands-on activity helped students understand different types of waste, develop proper waste-segregation habits, and create awareness about environmental protection and responsible waste management.
