🌱 A Mango Seed Today, A Tree for Tomorrow 🥭🌳 For this contest, we were asked to plant trees. But instead of planting a grown sapling, I decided to start from the very beginning — the seed itself. This summer, I planted around 16 mango seeds instead of throwing them away. Out of those, 8 seeds germinated, and today I have 8 beautiful young mango saplings growing. 🥭🌱 Currently, these saplings are growing in my terrace garden, where I’m taking care of them and watching them grow. As they become bigger, stronger and healthier, I will eventually plant them directly in the ground, where they can grow into mature mango trees. 🌳 Maybe I won't be the one to enjoy every fruit from these trees. Maybe I won't even be around when some of them become fully grown. But that's not the point. The point is that a tree planted today can give shade, oxygen, shelter and fruits to people many years from now. Someone else may sit under its shade. Someone else may enjoy its mangoes. And those fruits may carry seeds that grow into even more trees. So my humble request to everyone is: Please don't throw away seeds. Plant them. 🌱 Whether you enjoy the fruit or not, every seed has the potential to become a tree. Give it a chance. ❤️ I planted 16 mango seeds. Only 8 germinated. But those 8 little saplings are already a beginning — 8 possible trees for the future. 🌳💚 Let's not just plant trees for today. Let's grow something that future generations can enjoy.
