The National Student Paryavaran Competition (NSPC) 2026 – "Sowing to Growing" was officially launched at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University (HNBGU), Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand, by Prof. Shree Prakash Singh Ji, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of the University. The launch was coordinated by Shri Chandan Ji Bisht (Co-Convener, Uttarakhand Prant – Kendra Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal), along with Shri Sagar Puri Ji (Research Scholar & Sah-Nagar Karyavah) and Shri Akshay Saini Ji (Research Scholar & Harit Vistarak). The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. M. S. Panwar Ji (Dean of Recruitment), Prof. H. B. S. Chauhan Ji (Dean, Faculty of Humanities), Prof. J. P. Bhatt Ji (Head, Department of Sociology & Social Work), and Prof. Deepak Kumar Ji (Chief Proctor), reflecting HNBGU's commitment to environmental awareness and youth participation. Supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change and the Ministry of Education, Government of India, NSPC 2026 is a nationwide online environmental awareness competition comprising 20 multiple-choice (MCQ) questions to be completed within 30 minutes.
