Young Eco-Warriors in Junagadh, Gujarat Combat Plastic Pollution
In a commendable initiative against plastic pollution, students from Shree Gramodhyog Mandir Primary School in Junagadh, Gujarat, took a pledge to say no to plastic. During a seminar organized by the school, aptly titled "Say No to Plastic," these young minds vowed to reduce plastic usage and contribute to a greener environment. As part of their commitment, the students actively engaged in crafting eco-bricks, producing an impressive total of 120 of these Eco bricks. Additionally, they showcased their creativity by up-cycling various plastic products into innovative creations. The school has implemented strict measures to uphold its plastic-free campus status, prohibiting the use of plastic wrappers for snacks and encouraging eco-friendly alternatives. Through their collective efforts, these students are setting a powerful example, demonstrating that small actions can make a big difference in combating plastic pollution.
